Double sweep for Malene as another Northern Vision event comes to an end in Sandefjord,Norway

Malene Helgø managed a double sweep winning both singles and doubles during the inaugrial Norwegian Open played at Sandefjord Tennis Club fromt he 20th to 27th of July. Malene beat Lisa Ponomar of Germany 63 46 64 in singles and together with Astrid Brune Olsen beat Nora Niedmars ,Germany and Yukina Saigo , Japan 61 64.
This was the first ITF 15k outside Oslo for women for more than 10 years and Sandefjord proved a perfect venue to stage such a prestigious tournament. We hope to be back next year with an even bigger and better event.
